Neurodiversity as Strength
We celebrate differences in thinking, processing, and experiencing the world. Supports are designed to amplify strengths while addressing challenges, not to "fix" a child.
About
Every person who is remembered through history is remembered because they thought differently.
A label is just information, not a limit. Every child has unique strengths, interests, and ways of learning. My advocacy shifts the conversation from "what's wrong" to "what's possible," creating educational plans that honor neurodiversity as a natural variation and an asset. This approach leads to better engagement at IEP meetings, increased family confidence, and real progress for students.
I bring over 20 years of experience supporting families and school systems across Washington and California. My personal "why" is rooted in the belief that neurodiversity is an asset and that inclusive, equitable education systems are built through collaboration, empowerment, and practical action.
We celebrate differences in thinking, processing, and experiencing the world. Supports are designed to amplify strengths while addressing challenges, not to "fix" a child.
IEP/504 plans prioritize meaningful goals, access to general education, and the least restrictive environment so students can learn alongside their peers and build skills for life beyond school.
True success comes from strong partnerships between families, educators, and students. I facilitate open communication, shared goals, and mutual respect.
Grounded in IDEA, Section 504, and Washington/California state guidelines. Committed to cultural responsiveness and reducing disparities in special education outcomes.
